The principle of the suction cup is based on the creation of a vacuum between its facing and the smooth surface of the object to be transported. The vacuum cup is connected via a chain hoist to a crane system. The vacuum cup grips the load, which is then lifted by the chain hoist.

Classical applications for suction cups include transporting glass and steel plates. In this small device, the negative pressure is generated on the simple principle of a water jet pump, but with pressurized air instead of water as the medium.

Our rubber suction cups are strong, durable and available in a variety of sizes. They are specifically designed for extra heavy workpieces and materials with a smooth surface.
